Dimitris Itoudis and his reaction to the question about Russia and the war: “Sport unites, that’s what you have to present”.

Dimitris Itoudis gave a dry answer to a question at his post-EuroCup press conference against Wolves Vilnius. The Hapoel Tel Aviv coach was asked how he felt about working in Russia after the terrorist attacks in that country and Ukraine.

Itoudis’ words: “Are you serious? Ask somebody else, I’m not a politician. I am a basketball coach. Sport unites, you mentioned this now to me? I have a lot of players of different nationalities, sport unites. That’s what you have to present. Sport unites”.
