Memphis Grizzlies rookie Zach Edey will remain sidelined for a few more weeks after testing his injured left ankle during a G League practice session.
Edey, out since November 17, worked with the Memphis Hustle, but coach Taylor Jenkins stated: “We’re not comfortable with where he’s at yet.”
Edey, the ninth pick in the NBA Draft, is averaging 11.1 points and 6.9 rebounds in 14 games this season.
The new point guard could improve Minnesota’s pace and ball movement, while Anthony Edwards remains central to the offense
