Partizan coach Zeljko Obradovic told the story of his meeting with Erdem Can, his long-time assistant at Fenerbahce: ‘When I met Erdem at Fenerbahce, I asked him for some documents and he brought me 10 times more than I had asked for.

At that moment I realised Erdem’s dedication and ambition for basketball, so I talked to the management and asked him to be part of the coaching staff’.
