‘Last year was difficult. In the Italian league I had the chance to play, in Europe I did not. I was forbidden to do so for many reasons, which I respect. I saw the team losing and I wanted to help out. I thought about quitting basketball: who would make me do that at thirty-seven years old. Then the situation changed and now I’m happy that everything is going well.”
