Markovic ranks second in games started with 97, six behind all-time leader Rafa Martinez.

His EuroCup debut came on October 31, 2006 with Hemofarm Vrsac of his native Serbia in a road game against Lietuvos Rytas .
Markovic was 18 years, 6 months and 6 days old when he played 26 minutes as a starter in 81-69 loss.
Since then, he has played EuroCup seasons withwith Benetton Treviso, Valencia Basket, Banvit Bandirma, Zenit St Petersburg and Segafredo Virtus Bologna.
Markovic is the all-time EuroCup leader in assists with 584, which is 180 more than any other player.
His 9.1 assists per game in 2016-17 is the highest average in EuroCup history for seven games or more.
He is also the all-time leader in steals with 187, which is 20 more than the next-best player.
Markovic ranks first among active players with a career average of 1.5 steals.
Markovic is seventh all-time in total performance index rating with 1,320.
He is also second all-time among guards with 29 career blocked shots.
Only three guards have a better career two-point shooting average than Markovic’s 60.1%.
