76ers’ Kelly Oubre Jr. fractured rib after being hit by car

Philadelphia 76ers player Kelly Oubre Jr. was hit by a car while walking near his home in the city centre.

Oubre was released from the hospital where he was diagnosed with a broken rib.

Police are investigating the accident and reported that a silver vehicle fled the scene. Oubre had joined the 76ers this season and averaged 16.3 points per game.

Because of the fracture, he will miss the 76ers’ game against the Indiana Pacers and will be re-evaluated in a week.
