La Federazione lituana vorrebbe ospitare a Kaunas uno dei quattro preolimpici.

Arvydas Sabonis avrebbe riferito che la richiesta Fiba per l’organizzazione sarebbe stata di 2.3 milioni di euro, che aumenterebbero fino 3 per l’evento.

Le richieste vanno depositate entro novembre, l’annuncio a marzo.

Kaunas wants to host 1 of 4 Olympic qualification tournaments. According to Arvydas Sabonis, FIBA asks €2.3M for the bid, but with all the expenses it might cost around €3M. Federations are requested to apply for the bid until November. Hosts should be announced by March.
