Zenit to increase capacity to 75%
Zenit will increase allowed attendance
Zenit has provided satisfactory reports about disinfection and compliance with covid protocols after each game, and now the local authorities have allowed the Russian club to increase their maximum attendance to 75% of the arena’s capacity, starting with the game against CSKA Moscow on March 30th. Until now, Zenit was allowed to fill up to 50% of the capacity.
Zenit is playing their home games in Sibur Arena (capacity of 7120) and Yubileyny Sports Palace (7044). This means that they will now be allowed to accept around 5300 vistiors.
The club from St Petersburg is currently placed eight in the EuroLeague and is still fighting to secure a spot in the playoffs.
