The game stayed close for most of the night. After a 24-24 opening quarter, Virtus created some separation in the second behind Kokila, Frazier and Bello and went into halftime up 54-47. Besiktas responded in the third, briefly taking the lead through Omoruyi, before Bologna recovered to enter the fourth ahead 74-70.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Virtus appeared to take control late, with Carr making it 91-81 and then completing a three-point play for a 94-81 advantage. But Bologna wasted several possessions and allowed Besiktas back into the game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
