Anthony Edwards successfully underwent an arthroscopic procedure on his right knee at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
The Timberwolves said their star is expected to make a full recovery.

Edwards underwent a debridement procedure, a minimally invasive treatment used to clean the joint and remove damaged tissue or loose fragments. Minnesota did not announce an official return timetable, while ESPN’s Shams Charania previously reported that Edwards could be sidelined for up to two months.

The right knee had bothered Edwards since last spring. An MRI on Tuesday revealed new damage that had not appeared on previous scans. Edwards had opened the season with 133 points through four games, a franchise record, including a 47-point performance against Cleveland.

Anthony Edwards successfully underwent arthroscopic surgery on his right knee and is expected to make a full recovery

"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paywalled_content":false
_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false
[399

175
183

post-557437","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-nba","rumors-nba-rumors","typology-rumors
["GET
