Xavi Pascual and Elie Okobo have shared their thoughts ahead of the EuroLeague matchup between Dubai Basketball and Paris Basketball, highlighting the importance of getting back to winning and continuing to build team chemistry.

Xavi Pascual, Dubai head coach

“We are heading in the right direction. It’s going to be a very complicated game [against Paris]. We hope that all the supporters come here to Coca-Cola Arena to help us a lot because we have to win after the defeat against Crvena Zvezda [in our last home game in Round 4]. We want to win the game and share this emotion with our fans.”

Elie Okobo, Dubai guard

“We were on the road for the whole week, so coming back here and playing in front of our fans is going to be good. We had a solid win at the weekend [in the ABA League], we played good overall, still building our chemistry. I think we’re on the right path. We’re going to play Paris, a very strong and solid team, so we’ll have to take them very seriously and get the job done.”

The head coach and guard discuss the team’s progress, the challenge posed by Paris Basketball and the importance of home-court support.

"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paywalled_content":false
_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false
[199
["post-556549","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-euroleague
["GET
