\u201cThe player has a contract in force for the 2026-27 season with Basket Zaragoza,\u201d the club said. Zaragoza argues that Mara\u2019s move to college basketball in 2023 did not terminate the agreement: \u201cThis does not mean that his departure terminated his contract or that he was excluded from the FIBA system.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mara, the No. 12 pick in the 2026 NBA Draft, has already signed with Oklahoma City and is averaging 13.4 points, 7.6 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 2.4 blocks in preseason.
