\u201cI always say this, and sometimes it may seem like I\u2019m saying it to avoid the question. But that\u2019s not the case. I\u2019m simply never going to put a ceiling on this team. I really like this group. I think we have a roster with a lot of basketball IQ, versatility and depth. We have 14 players under contract plus a couple of two-way players, and I genuinely believe every one of them can contribute to the team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cLooking back four or five years, one of our biggest challenges was figuring out how to win by taking advantage of every possible margin. We were picking at the end of the first round or in the second round, we didn\u2019t have the ability to use the mid-level exception, and we couldn\u2019t offer big contracts to free agents. So we had to bring in some players on two-way contracts and others on minimum deals, hoping they would fit into our system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cGreat credit goes to the players and their work ethic, as well as our coaching staff and player development team. We\u2019ve built a very deep and versatile group, and that\u2019s what you need to win in today\u2019s NBA. We believe those are two fundamental aspects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
