Michael Porter Jr. believes the Brooklyn Nets can win more than 50 games during the 2026-27 season. “If we get that chemistry right, with all of our young guys getting so much better, we’re definitely going to surpass expectations,” he told N3on.

That would represent a dramatic improvement for a team coming off a 20-62 campaign. Brooklyn has since added Julius Randle and No. 6 overall pick Mikel Brown Jr., along with Moritz Wagner and Keon Ellis.

Porter will be one of the leaders of the new-look group after averaging 24.2 points, 7.1 rebounds and 3.0 assists last season. The development of Egor Demin, Noah Clowney, Nolan Traore, Danny Wolf and Ben Saraf will be crucial to the Nets’ ambitions.
