Adam Silver confirmed that several groups remain involved but stressed that expansion has not yet been formally approved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The NBA aims to make a decision by the end of 2026, with potential new teams targeted to begin play in 2028-29.
