Two stories and two deeply different backgrounds, but one common goal: to bring Rome back to the top of Italian basketball on a permanent basis<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

That was the central theme of the official presentation of Maxima Roma<\/strong>, held this morning in Piazza Venezia, in the heart of the Italian capital. The two main figures at the event were club president Paul Matiasic<\/strong> and Francesco Totti<\/strong>, who has been appointed by the ownership as Advisor and a key figure for fan-base development and Corporate Social Responsibility activities.<\/p>\n

Matiasic was the first to speak, summarizing the ambition behind the new project in just a few words:<\/p>\n

\u201cIn the United States, we’re used to thinking of sport as something that starts well before the game and continues after the final buzzer.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

For Maxima Roma, therefore, what happens on the court will remain fundamental, but it will have to be accompanied by entertainment, identity and a sense of community<\/strong>, while maintaining a strong connection with the traditions of Italian basketball.<\/p>\n

Building an ecosystem around the team<\/h2>\n

The club aims to create a genuine ecosystem around the team<\/strong>, bringing together basketball, families, young people and local businesses.<\/p>\n

The project is designed to appeal to a broad audience and establish a direct relationship between the club and the city, with Maxima Roma aiming to become more than simply a basketball team.<\/p>\n
