Speaking on the Floor Generals podcast, Sotiris Vetakis, Mihalis Stefanou and Thanos Tsibos reported that the league is planning a general meeting of club owners during the first two weeks of October. The meeting is not expected to take place in Barcelona, with the location set to be announced soon.

Several high-profile figures could attend, including Panathinaikos owner Dimitris Giannakopoulos, Olympiacos owners Giorgos and Panagiotis Angelopoulos, Barcelona president Joan Laporta and representatives from Anadolu Efes and Fenerbahce. Real Madrid president Florentino Perez could also be present.

The agenda could include the EuroLeague’s franchise structure, potential expansion and, most importantly, the latest developments surrounding NBA Europe. Vetakis also noted that the NBA is scheduled to hold a meeting on September 15 regarding its European project.
