Edgecombe\u2019s the fifth option,\u201d Williams said, adding that he would choose the young guard over both Shane Battier and DeMarcus Cousins.<\/p>\n<p>Selected third overall in the 2025 NBA Draft, Edgecombe averaged 16.0 points, 5.6 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 1.4 steals during his rookie season, finishing third in Rookie of the Year
