According to Joe Cowley of the Chicago Sun-Times<\/strong>, former Chicago Bulls executive Arturas Karnisovas did not consider Tyrese Haliburton a serious prospect<\/strong> during his time running the franchise. Karnisovas also reportedly did not believe Haliburton would have been one of the top four players on the Bulls\u2019 roster at the time.<\/p>\n

Arturas Karnisovas\u2019 evaluation of Tyrese Haliburton<\/h2>\n

The comments regarding Haliburton have emerged years later, with the guard having since developed into one of the NBA\u2019s top players. According to Cowley, Karnisovas did not view Haliburton as a player capable of ranking among Chicago\u2019s four best players at that point.<\/p>\n

Karnisovas was fired by the Bulls last spring and is currently working as a consultant for NBA Europe<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Bulls address Noa Essengue\u2019s physicality<\/h2>\n

New Bulls management has also reportedly spoken with Noa Essengue<\/strong> about several aspects of his game and development. According to the report, the organization has specifically addressed his lack of physicality and emotional control<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Essengue was selected No. 12 overall in the 2025 NBA Draft<\/strong> and now faces the challenge of earning the trust of Chicago\u2019s new management.<\/p>\n

Bulls scouts reportedly preferred Joan Beringer<\/h2>\n

According to Cowley, Bulls scouts also reportedly preferred Joan Beringer over Essengue<\/strong> during the evaluation process. However, the scouts were reportedly hesitant to challenge Karnisovas\u2019 opinion.<\/p>\n

The developments offer another insight into the decisions made under the previous Bulls front office and the different approach being taken by Chicago\u2019s new management.<\/p>\n
