According to the <em data-start=\"1727\" data-end=\"1749\">Melbourne Herald Sun<\/em>, the proposals include awarding three points for dunks and four points for shots made from the halfcourt logo.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1862\" data-end=\"2163\">The league reportedly planned to test some of the concepts during the preseason Blitz in Bendigo but did not have enough time to obtain FIBA approval. Basketball Australia initially endorsed the changes before determining that authorization from basketball\u2019s international governing body was required.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2165\" data-end=\"2407\">The NBL is also considering a 30-second timeout that could only be called by the player in possession.
