Guerschon Yabusele is settling into life at Panathinaikos. Back in the EuroLeague after spending two seasons in the NBA, the former New York Knicks forward praised the working conditions provided by the Greek club and the availability of its staff.<\/p>\n

The French international, a silver medalist at the Paris Olympics, also emphasized his commitment to his new team while avoiding making predictions about the season ahead.<\/p>\n

\u201cBadio speaks French, so the others will have to learn it too\u201d<\/h2>\n

Yabusele has spent his first days in Athens alongside Brancou Badio, another major Panathinaikos addition.<\/p>\n

With several French-speaking players on the roster, including Sylvain Francisco, Moustapha Fall and Mathias Lessort, Yabusele has already found some familiar faces in the locker room.<\/p>\n

\u201cBadio speaks French, so there will be many places where we speak French. The others will have to learn it too. I\u2019m French and I\u2019m happy to play with my friend. Some others also speak French, so we already have a connection,\u201d Yabusele joked to Eurohoops<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

After just 48 hours with his new team, the Frenchman is already enjoying the experience.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s great here. We\u2019re enjoying our second day. We\u2019re still learning and working.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Asked about the differences between his new club and an NBA franchise, Yabusele particularly highlighted the resources and support available to the players.<\/p>\n

The French forward explained how the club takes care of many aspects of the players\u2019 daily lives:<\/p>\n

\u201cWe arrive, we have breakfast and lunch, they take care of our meals and medical treatment, and the staff is there for everything we need.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Yabusele concluded with a strong endorsement of his new environment:<\/p>\n
