In an already complicated summer for AS Monaco, the Roca Team has received another disciplinary sanction. The league\u2019s disciplinary commission punished the club for a public safety incident during Game 3 of the Betclic \u00c9LITE Finals, when a spectator entered the court to confront referee Mehdi Difallah.<\/p>\n
The commission, which met on July 22, imposed a \u20ac1,000 fine on Monaco, along with an additional \u20ac1,000 suspended fine. The suspended amount will become payable if the club is readmitted to Betclic \u00c9LITE for next season.<\/p>\n
The sanction is lower than the \u20ac1,500 fine Monaco received on June 16 for a previous public-related incident during a game against Paris Basketball.
