\u0141ukasz \u0141ysek is joining the Olimpia Milano youth academy. The Polish center, a product of WKK Wroc\u0142aw, will wear the Biancorossi colors starting next season, bringing an end to a five-year spell with one of Poland\u2019s most successful youth clubs.<\/p>\n
Born on May 18, 2009, \u0141ysek is a 212-centimeter center. According to Strefa Basketu<\/em>, he leaves Wroc\u0142aw after already building an impressive youth r\u00e9sum\u00e9, with several national achievements in his respective age categories.<\/p>\n During his time with WKK Wroc\u0142aw, \u0141ysek won a silver medal in the Polish U15 Championship, followed by a bronze and then a gold medal at U17 level. He also claimed a bronze medal in the U19 category and won the Polish Youth Cup.<\/p>\n The Polish club, announcing the player\u2019s departure, thanked him for his contribution over the years and wished him all the best for his new experience in Italy. WKK Wroc\u0142aw is described by the Polish outlet as a club capable of consistently exporting its young talents to some of the leading academies across Europe.<\/p>\n The past few months have also been significant at international level. \u0141ysek, alongside his WKK Wroc\u0142aw teammates August Cha\u0142upa and Szymon \u0141ata, helped Poland U18 finish second at the FIBA U18 European Championship Division B, a result that secured promotion to Division A for next year.<\/p>\n That is not all. The young center has also been invited to Basketball Without Borders Next Up, a camp organized by the NBA and FIBA in Istanbul from August 26 to 29.
