The two met with <strong data-start=\"570\" data-end=\"585\">Tony Parker<\/strong> and also visited the <strong data-start=\"607\" data-end=\"621\">TP Academy<\/strong>, where they even took the opportunity to shoot some baskets.<\/p>\n<h2 data-section-id=\"emi4st\" data-start=\"684\" data-end=\"736\"><span role=\"text\"><strong data-start=\"687\" data-end=\"736\">The Buss brothers take a closer look at ASVEL<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"738\" data-end=\"804\">The visit represents another significant step in the negotiations.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"806\" data-end=\"1051\">Joey and Jesse Buss have extensive experience within a major professional sports organization. The sons of <strong data-start=\"913\" data-end=\"927\">Jerry Buss<\/strong>, they spent years working within the <strong data-start=\"965\" data-end=\"987\">Los Angeles Lakers<\/strong> organization, the NBA franchise their family owned for decades.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1053\" data-end=\"1245\">Their presence in Lyon comes as discussions continue over a potential <strong data-start=\"1123\" data-end=\"1155\">change of ownership at ASVEL<\/strong>, with the club&#8217;s future also closely linked to the development of the NBA Europe project.<\/p>\n<h2 data-section-id=\"1dqddd4\" data-start=\"1247\" data-end=\"1302\"><span role=\"text\"><strong data-start=\"1250\" data-end=\"1302\">ASVEL valued between \u20ac60 million and \u20ac80 million<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1304\" data-end=\"1370\">One of the key issues in the negotiations is the club&#8217;s valuation.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1372\" data-end=\"1573\">Some shareholders who joined ASVEL&#8217;s ownership structure in recent months, particularly with the potential development of <strong data-start=\"1494\" data-end=\"1508\">NBA Europe<\/strong> in mind, had hoped to value the club at around <strong data-start=\"1556\" data-end=\"1572\">\u20ac120 million<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1575\" data-end=\"1732\">According to information reported by <em data-start=\"1612\" data-end=\"1624\">Le Progr\u00e8s<\/em>, however, the current discussions are based on a valuation of approximately <strong data-start=\"1701\" data-end=\"1731\">\u20ac60 million to \u20ac80 million<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1734\" data-end=\"1846\">That significant gap could make negotiations more complicated and require additional time to reach an agreement.<\/p>\n<h2 data-section-id=\"13gmins\" data-start=\"1848\" data-end=\"1898\"><span role=\"text\"><strong data-start=\"1851\" data-end=\"1898\">Deal could be delayed until the end of 2026<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1900\" data-end=\"1989\">ASVEL&#8217;s management had initially hoped to reach an agreement <strong data-start=\"1961\" data-end=\"1988\">by the end of September<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1991\" data-end=\"2099\">However, the negotiations could now continue for several more months, potentially <strong data-start=\"2073\" data-end=\"2098\">until the end of 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2101\" data-end=\"2360\">The Buss brothers&#8217; visit to Lyon is nevertheless an important development.
