It doesn\u2019t mean nothing to me. I got the championship. Why do I need the ring?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Porter Jr. went on to compare the NBA championship ring to the trophies people receive as children, once again emphasizing that the memory of winning the title means more to him than the physical object.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019s like trophies when you were growing up. You got a trophy. You don\u2019t care about those anymore. I got a ring. Everybody knows I got a ring.
