The 26-year-old Latvian combo guard, capable of playing both point guard and shooting guard, joins the Canary Islands club after spending the last two seasons with <strong data-start=\"474\" data-end=\"489\">R\u00edo Breog\u00e1n<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"492\" data-end=\"817\">Born in <strong data-start=\"500\" data-end=\"509\">Cesis<\/strong> and standing 1.93 meters (6-foot-4), Kurucs brings extensive experience at both the domestic and European levels. He has appeared in <strong data-start=\"643\" data-end=\"668\">168 Liga Endesa games<\/strong> with <strong data-start=\"674\" data-end=\"686\">Baskonia<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"688\" data-end=\"703\">UCAM Murcia<\/strong>, and <strong data-start=\"709\" data-end=\"724\">R\u00edo Breog\u00e1n<\/strong>, while also playing <strong data-start=\"745\" data-end=\"762\">70 EuroLeague<\/strong> games and <strong data-start=\"773\" data-end=\"807\">30 Basketball Champions League<\/strong> contests.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"819\" data-end=\"1131\">Kurucs began his career with <strong data-start=\"848\" data-end=\"860\">VEF Riga<\/strong> before joining <strong data-start=\"876\" data-end=\"890\">Baskonia&#8217;s<\/strong> youth academy in 2015, where he eventually made his professional debut.
