data-start=\"2685\" data-end=\"2875\">The <strong data-start=\"2689\" data-end=\"2733\">No. 4 overall pick in the 2008 NBA Draft<\/strong>, Westbrook spent 11 seasons with the <strong data-start=\"2771\" data-end=\"2796\">Oklahoma City Thunder<\/strong>, eventually becoming the face of the franchise after Kevin Durant&#8217;s departure.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2877\" data-end=\"3116\">His defining season came in <strong data-start=\"2905\" data-end=\"2916\">2016-17<\/strong>, when he won the <strong data-start=\"2934\" data-end=\"2945\">NBA MVP<\/strong> award after averaging <strong data-start=\"2968\" data-end=\"3015\">31.6 points, 10.7 rebounds and 10.4 assists<\/strong>, becoming just the second player in league history to average a triple-double over an entire season.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3118\" data-end=\"3363\">During his career, Westbrook also played for the <strong data-start=\"3167\" data-end=\"3255\">Houston Rockets, Washington Wizards, Los Angeles Lakers, LA Clippers, Denver Nuggets<\/strong>, and <strong data-start=\"3261\" data-end=\"3281\">Sacramento Kings<\/strong>, averaging <strong data-start=\"3293\" data-end=\"3338\">15.2 points, 6.7 assists and 5.4 rebounds<\/strong> in his final NBA season.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3365\" data-end=\"3541\">He retires with career averages of <strong data-start=\"3400\" data-end=\"3445\">20.9 points, 8.0 assists and 6.9 rebounds<\/strong> in <strong data-start=\"3449\" data-end=\"3464\">1,301 games<\/strong>, while holding the <strong data-start=\"3484\"
