However, the <strong data-start=\"2304\" data-end=\"2312\">NCAA<\/strong> is challenging that decision, meaning it is not yet guaranteed that Trimble and the other affected players will ultimately receive an additional season of eligibility.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2482\" data-end=\"2658\">As a senior with the Tar Heels, Trimble averaged <strong data-start=\"2531\" data-end=\"2588\">14.0 points, 3.8 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.3 steals<\/strong> per game, establishing himself as one of the team&#8217;s key contributors.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2660\" data-end=\"2927\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">The <strong data-start=\"2664\" data-end=\"2688\">6-foot-3 point guard<\/strong> also played for the <strong data-start=\"2709\" data-end=\"2731\">Washington Wizards<\/strong> during the <strong data-start=\"2743\" data-end=\"2777\">NBA Summer League in Las Vegas<\/strong>, but he did not sign a professional contract.
