# Spurs remain fully committed to De’Aaron Fox

*San Antonio continues to believe in its point guard despite his struggles in the NBA Finals, viewing his contribution as crucial to the team’s run to the championship series.*

De’Aaron Fox’s performance in the NBA Finals has not changed the San Antonio Spurs’ plans. According to Mike C. Wright, the franchise remains fully committed to its veteran point guard and considers his contribution crucial to the team’s run throughout the season.

Fox played a key role in San Antonio’s journey to the Finals despite dealing with a right ankle injury. From the Spurs’ perspective, reaching the championship series would have been far from certain without his presence.

His struggles in the Finals, therefore, do not appear to have changed the franchise’s view of Fox, who remains one of the key pieces of San Antonio’s project.
