The Sacramento Kings reportedly have no interest in a buyout with Zach LaVine at this time. According to James Ham of Locked On Kings, despite speculation about the veteran guard\u2019s fit on a rebuilding team, neither the franchise nor the player is currently pursuing that route.<\/p>\n
LaVine is entering the final season of his contract at $48.9 million. A buyout could have allowed Sacramento to reduce that figure while giving the guard a chance to join a contender, but both sides are reportedly aligned in not wanting to move forward that way.<\/p>\n
The Kings remain willing to work with LaVine on finding a new team via trade, as they have throughout the offseason.
