Dubai Basketball have announced the signing of Mamadi Diakite on a multi-year deal. The Guinean forward-center joins Xavi Pascual’s team for the 2026-27 season after his first EuroLeague campaign with Baskonia.

Diakite averaged 8.4 points, 4.2 rebounds, 1.2 blocks and a PIR of 10.1 in 19 minutes per game in EuroLeague. He also finished as Liga Endesa’s leading shot blocker and helped Baskonia win the 2026 Spanish Cup. One of his standout performances came against Dubai Basketball, when he posted 27 points and a PIR of 37.

Born in Conakry, Guinea, Diakite developed in the United States and won the NCAA championship with Virginia before beginning his NBA career with the Milwaukee Bucks, where he was part of the 2021 championship team.
