According to Shams Charania, both sides worked collaboratively on the resolution after exploring trade routes.<\/p>\n<p>DeRozan had a partial guarantee on his contract for next season. Bobby Marks reported that his $25.7 million salary was guaranteed for $10 million, with Sacramento having until the end of August to waive-and-stretch the amount over three seasons.<\/p>\n<p>The move will push the Kings below both salary-cap aprons.
