Alimpijevic’s team opened with an intense zone defense, changed rotations effectively and disrupted a Fenerbahce side that spent only 61 seconds in front all night.

Fenerbahce answered in the third quarter with a 14-3 run, powered by Baldwin’s late-clock baskets, but Besiktas responded again and entered the final period ahead 60-56. Morgan’s fifth foul and Sertaç’s physical issue hurt the hosts, while Dotson kept them alive with two big threes.

The championship came down to one possession. Baldwin drove to the rim, drew the defense and delivered a brilliant pass to a wide-open Biberovic on the perimeter: his three dropped with just over a second remaining, giving Fenerbahce a 77-75 lead and turning into the shot of the season. It was also Fenerbahce’s first three-pointer of the second half.

Besiktas could not get a final shot off, and Fenerbahce celebrated a third straight title.
