For Fenerbahce, <strong>Wade Baldwin IV<\/strong> and <strong>Tarik Biberovic<\/strong> finished with 16 points each.<\/p>\n<p>Besiktas opened the game with much more energy and quickly put pressure on Fenerbahce, winning the first quarter 27-16. Fenerbahce responded in the second period with a 26-16 run and cut the deficit to 43-42 at halftime, but the visitors never lost their composure.<\/p>\n<p>The third quarter turned into a back-and-forth battle, with Besiktas still ahead 62-61 entering the final period. In the closing minutes, Alimpijevic\u2019s team raised its defensive intensity, found key baskets and protected the lead whenever Fenerbahce threatened to take control.<\/p>\n<p>Alongside Ugurlu, who made a major impact with his scoring and decision-making, Besiktas got 14 points from Anthony Brown and 12 from Vitto Brown in a balanced offensive effort. Fenerbahce could not turn the 16-point nights from Baldwin and Biberovic into a home win.<\/p>\n<p>The result gives Besiktas a 1-0 lead in the best-of-five Finals and represents a major early blow against Sarunas Jasikevicius\u2019 team.
