The American point guard arrives from <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">AS Karditsas<\/span><\/span>, where he completed the regular season last Saturday.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"335\" data-end=\"714\">After playing college basketball at Metropolitan State University of Denver in NCAA Division II, Jefferson began his professional career in the 2013\u201314 season with KTP Basket Kotka in Finland. Following a stint there and another with Phoenix Hagen in Germany, he competed in the Adriatic League and EuroLeague with <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">KK Union Olimpija<\/span><\/span> during the 2016\u201317 season.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"716\" data-end=\"1015\">Since then, Jefferson has played for eight more teams: Trapani, Orl\u00e9ans, Strasbourg, Pau-Orthez, Tianjin Pioneers, Dinamo Sassari, JL Bourg and AS Karditsas. Throughout his career, he has stood out for his scoring ability, averaging 17.2 points with Strasbourg and 18.6 points in the Chinese league.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1017\" data-end=\"1342\">This season, he averaged 15.3 points, 3.7 assists and 2.5 rebounds per game in the Greek league. In his final appearance with AS Karditsas last Saturday, he recorded 12 points and 4 assists in a loss that ended the team\u2019s season.
