Adebayo suffered a lower back injury on the sequence and did not return after exiting in the second quarter.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2292\" data-end=\"2523\">Spoelstra called the action \u201cstupid\u201d and \u201cdangerous,\u201d while also insisting it was not an excuse for Miami\u2019s defeat. Ball later apologized after the game and said he planned to check on Adebayo.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2525\" data-end=\"2894\">The officiating explanation came afterward, with crew chief Zach Zarba saying the play was no longer reviewable because no foul had been called in real time and the review window had closed before the next stoppage.
