The update comes from ESPN and marks an important step in defining his availability for the postseason.

The Slovenian star had previously been ruled out indefinitely because of a Grade 2 hamstring strain and missed the end of the regular season. The next medical evaluation should clarify whether a short-term return is realistic or whether the Lakers will have to keep planning without him for at least the opening stretch of the playoffs.

For Los Angeles, this is a major checkpoint, because Doncic’s recovery could significantly reshape the team’s offensive outlook at the most important stage of the season.
