The issue comes as the league moves ahead with a restart plan that sets the return of games in Israel for no later than <strong data-start=\"2225\" data-end=\"2243\">April 18, 2026<\/strong>, with neutral-site games and no fans.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2321\" data-end=\"2757\">In his statement, the <strong data-start=\"2343\" data-end=\"2363\">Hapoel Jerusalem<\/strong> guard asked: <strong data-start=\"2377\" data-end=\"2539\">\u201cIs there a players\u2019 association for the foreign players in the league? Why isn\u2019t there a single players\u2019 association representing all players in the league?\u201d<\/strong> Harper said he was not strictly arguing whether the decision to return games to Israel was right or wrong, but insisted that every player perspective should be taken into account.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2759\" data-end=\"3155\">He also said the matter goes beyond the current restart issue, pointing to wider topics such as player safety, rule changes, playing conditions and relationships with referees. Harper suggested that each team should have one Israeli and one foreign player acting as representatives, adding: <strong data-start=\"3050\" data-end=\"3117\">\u201cThis is a time to show unity among all players, not division.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">I feel like we are missing the perspectives of the foreign players in the league.
