Valencia Basket has reached an agreement with the head coach of its men\u2019s team, Pedro Mart\u00ednez, to extend their partnership for one more season. With the new contract, the relationship between the two sides will now run until the end of the 2027\u201328 season.<\/p>\n

Mart\u00ednez is currently in his fourth season as head coach of the \u201ctaronja\u201d bench, across his two spells at the club. During this campaign, he has become the coach with the most wins (184) and the most games coached (251) with the men\u2019s professional team. He has also reached the milestone of being the first coach to win more than one title with the men\u2019s team, adding the 2025 Endesa Supercup to the Endesa League title he lifted in the 2016\u201317 season.<\/p>\n

Although there are still five rounds left to play in the EuroLeague regular season, the \u201ctaronja\u201d team has already set new records for total wins and home victories in Europe\u2019s top competition. The team is now entering the decisive stage of its two main competitions, having demonstrated a clear identity and style that has enabled it to compete with any opponent, including those with much larger budgets.<\/p>\n

Pedro Mart\u00ednez\u2019s overall record with Valencia Basket stands at 184\u201367, representing a 73.3% win rate, which makes him the coach with the highest winning percentage in the club\u2019s history.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
