In Brooklyn, U.S. District Judge <strong data-start=\"1940\" data-end=\"1963\">LaShann DeArcy Hall<\/strong> imposed a term below the four years sought by the government, while the defense argued for no prison time.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2072\" data-end=\"2387\">At sentencing, McCormack said: \u201c<strong data-start=\"2104\" data-end=\"2175\">I&#8217;ve struggled with a gambling addiction for more than half my life<\/strong>.\u201d DeArcy Hall acknowledged the addiction factor (\u201c<strong data-start=\"2226\" data-end=\"2291\">He has an addiction\u2026 I don&#8217;t believe the conduct\u2026 defines him<\/strong>\u201d) but stressed the integrity issue as well: \u201c<strong data-start=\"2337\" data-end=\"2385\">There is no question this is a serious crime<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2389\" data-end=\"2712\">In the same case, Rozier\u2014on <strong data-start=\"2417\" data-end=\"2433\">unpaid leave<\/strong> from the <strong data-start=\"2443\" data-end=\"2457\">Miami Heat<\/strong>\u2014pleaded not guilty in December to wire fraud and money laundering conspiracy charges and is free on a $3 million bond, with court not expected again until March.
