Around the league, the Sacramento Kings<\/span><\/span><\/strong> are considered the leading candidate to land Kuminga. League sources say the two teams held discussions last week<\/strong> and are expected to reopen talks soon<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Kuminga signed a two-year, $48.5 million contract<\/strong> with Golden State this past summer, but his relationship with head coach Steve Kerr<\/span><\/span><\/strong> has deteriorated to the point where his exclusion from the rotation is now widely viewed as public knowledge.<\/p>\n

Any potential deal would likely require a third team<\/strong>, as Golden State has shown little interest in Sacramento\u2019s available veteran players.
