Friday\u2019s MRI showed a <strong data-start=\"1861\" data-end=\"1893\">Grade 2 gastrocnemius strain<\/strong> in his left calf, with a reevaluation in approximately four weeks.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1962\" data-end=\"2196\">This injury is separate from the mild calf issue that recently forced him to miss three games. Reaves returned Tuesday with 17 points vs Phoenix, then aggravated a new issue in the first half of the 119-96 Christmas loss to Houston.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2198\" data-end=\"2434\">The timing is brutal: Reaves was enjoying a career year at <strong data-start=\"2257\" data-end=\"2272\">26.6 points<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"2274\" data-end=\"2289\">6.3 assists<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"2294\" data-end=\"2310\">5.2 rebounds<\/strong>, putting him in the All-Star conversation. Meanwhile, the Lakers have hit a rough patch and face a busy upcoming stretch.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2436\" data-end=\"2583\">Los Angeles has 15 games between now and Jan. 26, the window Reaves could miss.
