Rozier<\/strong> of the <strong data-start=\"1476\" data-end=\"1490\">Miami Heat<\/strong> pleaded <strong data-start=\"1499\" data-end=\"1513\">not guilty<\/strong> in Brooklyn federal court to <strong data-start=\"1543\" data-end=\"1577\">sports betting-related charges<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1452\" data-end=\"1740\">The 31-year-old guard faces counts of <strong data-start=\"1619\" data-end=\"1633\">wire fraud<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"1638\" data-end=\"1669\">money laundering conspiracy<\/strong> and was released on a <strong data-start=\"1692\" data-end=\"1711\">$3 million bond<\/strong> secured by two properties.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1742\" data-end=\"2102\">Prosecutors allege Rozier conspired with friends to help them win bets on his performance in a <strong data-start=\"1837\" data-end=\"1868\">March 2023 Hornets\u2013Pelicans<\/strong> game, exiting after 9:36 minutes with a supposed foot injury.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1742\" data-end=\"2102\">Rozier spoke only to answer \u201cyes\u201d or \u201cno\u201d in court, while his lawyer said he is \u201cexcited\u201d to mount his defense and plans a motion to dismiss on constitutional grounds.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2104\" data-end=\"2507\">The judge scheduled the next hearing for <strong data-start=\"2145\" data-end=\"2156\">March 3<\/strong>, as the government prepares to turn over \u201cvoluminous\u201d evidence, including more than 1,000 documents and 55 gigabytes of data.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2104\" data-end=\"2507\">Rozier\u2019s case is part of a wider federal probe into illegal sports gambling that has led to over 30 arrests and also involves <strong data-start=\"2411\" data-end=\"2431\">Chauncey Billups<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"2436\"
