The Dallas Mavericks remain winless after two games, and during the loss to the Washington Wizards, many fans at the American Airlines Center once again chanted \u201cFire Nico!\u201d, expressing their frustration toward GM Nico Harrison.<\/p>\n
Adding to that frustration are Luka Doncic\u2019s standout performances with the Los Angeles Lakers – 49 points, 11 rebounds and 8 assist vs Minnesota -, which continue to sting for Mavericks supporters.<\/p>\n
Head coach Jason Kidd, speaking after the game, urged for patience \u2014 though he admitted he understands the fans\u2019 discontent.<\/p>\n
“I think they have a right to vent, but there’s a patience [needed],” Mavs coach Jason Kidd said<\/a>. “It’s a different team, it’s a new team. We’re just getting to understand each other. We’re going to keep learning each other. So I would say be patient, but I understand the frustration. We all want to win. We all want to compete at a high level, but it’s a game of expression, and fans have a right to express themselves.
