But the time has come.\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"128\" data-end=\"228\">With an Instagram post, Marco Belinelli has announced his retirement from professional basketball.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"230\" data-end=\"532\">Born in 1986 in San Giovanni in Persiceto, he won during his career three Italian league titles, one Italian Cup, four Supercups, one EuroCup, and the 2014 NBA Championship\u2014the only Italian player to achieve that honor. MVP of the Italian League in 2023-2024, he also won the NBA Three-Point Contest.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"534\" data-end=\"740\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">He wore the jerseys of Virtus and Fortitudo Bologna, as well as the Warriors, Raptors, Hornets, Bulls, Spurs, Kings, Hornets, Hawks, and 76ers. He also made 154 appearances with the Italian national team.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"534\" data-end=\"740\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\"><strong data-start=\"40\" data-end=\"65\">This was his message:<\/strong><br data-start=\"65\" data-end=\"68\" \/>I put my heart into it.
