The contract includes a <em data-start=\"312\" data-end=\"327\">player option<\/em> for the 2029-30 season and a <em data-start=\"357\" data-end=\"371\">trade kicker<\/em>, and it makes him ineligible to be traded for six months.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"431\" data-end=\"760\">Bridges took a slight discount from the max ($156M) to help the Knicks preserve financial flexibility. Alongside <strong data-start=\"544\" data-end=\"561\">Jalen Brunson<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"566\" data-end=\"588\">Karl-Anthony Towns<\/strong>, he helped New York reach the Eastern Conference Finals last season.
