The deal includes a player option in the final season, keeping Jackson as a franchise cornerstone in Memphis.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1825\" data-end=\"2068\">The 25-year-old averaged 22.2 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks over 74 games last season, becoming the only NBA player with 1,500 points and 100 blocks. Jackson also recorded 100+ threes for a fourth straight season, setting an NBA record.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2070\" data-end=\"2298\">The extension will be executed during the upcoming transaction window, after Memphis cleared cap space by trading Desmond Bane.
