The Thunder triumphed 103-91, completing a remarkable journey.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1775\" data-end=\"2076\">\u201cI\u2019m just so happy for the guys. This is a historic team. I wanted it so bad for them,\u201d Daigneault said, crediting the team\u2019s professionalism and competitiveness for the title. On Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, he added: \u201cHe\u2019s a once-in-a-lifetime player. There\u2019s nothing he can\u2019t do on a basketball court.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2078\" data-end=\"2285\">He expressed deep appreciation for the organization: \u201cMr. Bennett\u2019s been here from the start, Sam Presti\u2019s been here from the start&#8230; they\u2019ve built a first-class organization. I\u2019m humbled to be part of it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2287\" data-end=\"2472\">Addressing the personal significance of the win: \u201cEveryone says this team\u2019s hard to coach&#8230; that\u2019s the ultimate pressure. I feel like I was able to do it for them. They deserved this.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2474\" data-end=\"2767\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">Daigneault praised the Finals as a whole: \u201cTwo small-market teams, both chasing their first title\u2014it was great for the league.\u201d He closed with a reflection on competition: \u201cYou can talk about it all you want, but it comes down to performance.
