According to German outlet Buzz Sport, Crvena Zvezda (Red Star Belgrade) is on the verge of signing Semi Ojeleye from Valencia. The Serbian club, led by coach Ioannis Sfairopoulos, is said to be offering a €1.5 million annual salary along with a €400,000 buyout to the Spanish side.

Ojeleye, a 6’6″ forward with NBA experience, joined European basketball in 2022 after four seasons in the NBA and has since played for Virtus Bologna and Valencia.

In the 2024–25 season, he averaged 11.4 points and 3.5 rebounds in the EuroCup and 11.8 points and 3.2 rebounds in the ACB, standing out in an otherwise disappointing year for Valencia.
