The current assistant coach of Luca Banchi at Anadolu Efes will now be responsible for coaching the Croatian national team. Krunoslav Simon brought his candidacy to the Croatian Basketball Federation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mijatovic said<\/strong>: &#8220;I want to thank everyone at the Croatian Basketball Federation for the great trust they\u2019ve placed in me. It is a tremendous honor, but also a huge responsibility, to be head coach of the Croatian national team. We know that, as always, a demanding road lies ahead \u2014 but it\u2019s one that opens the door to the biggest stage. Still, we must remain humble, take things step by step, focus on every possession, and treat every upcoming game as a final.
